For over 90 years, the Clovis District Chamber of Commerce has been a key
participant in building the Clovis community by connecting its business members
to create The Clovis Way of Life. As a private business association, the Clovis
Chamber has focused its attention on its 1,000 members and their interaction
with other businesses, the consumers, elected officials and the community. The
Chamber connects through its events, publications, committees, networking
programs and Web Site.
The Chambers nationally recognized events draw hundreds of thousands of
participants to our community every year which increases our economic vitality
and promotion of our merchants, restaurants, hotels and other services as well
as showcasing The Clovis Way of Life.
The Clovis Chamber publications reach tens of thousands of people every month.
The Chamber News goes to 30,000 homes and businesses as a monthly insert in the
Clovis and Fresno newspapers. In addition to promoting the Chamber events,
programs and issues, it allows Chamber members to publicize their products and
services in a cost effective way. The Clovis Visitors Guide and Chamber
Directory is an exciting, high quality, full color magazine that is distributed
to over 15,000 homes and businesses annually. It provides new and existing
residents information regarding the community and Chamber members businesses.
The Chamber also produces and distributes 10,000 official Clovis Maps every two
years.
The Business Advocacy and Clovis Political Action Committees actively and
effectively connect Chamber members with information on important legislative
issues that can impact their businesses.
Our mixers and monthly Wake Up Clovis breakfasts provide excellent networking
opportunities for Chamber members. These events allow members to interact,
inform and develop business relationships to work with people that can be
trusted “ a characteristic of a strong business community.
