About Leadership Clovis:
LETTER FROM FOUNDER JIM WARE
We are very proud of Leadership Clovis. It
is unique in its approach to business and community leadership training. Clovis
Chamber has partnered with the Empowerment Team to provide the best in
leadership and project development skills.
As a two year program, Leadership Clovis is unique. The second year is dedicated
to a project selected and accomplished by the class. Though eliminated from
other leadership programs, class projects remain a major focus of Leadership
Clovis. In fact, four of our classes are concurrently working on projects!
With classes limited to a comfortable “team” size, the members have the
opportunity to fully identify their leadership styles and skill levels. Also,
this allows the members to discover and practice new skills within their own
“style,” and to get to know each other better. The camaraderie and mutual
respect is obvious as each class has stayed together to complete its project,
many agreeing to extend into third or fourth years.
